This easy non-alcoholic Halloween witches’ brew punch is sweet, tangy, fizzy, and just creepy enough to feel festive. It comes together in under 10 minutes with simple ingredients and is perfect for Halloween parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups pineapple juice (unsweetened)
  • 3 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 2 cups ginger ale
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries or blackberries
  • Optional: 1-2 cups dry ice for fog effect
  • Optional: Gummy worms or plastic spiders for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your ingredients overnight. Put the pineapple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, and ginger ale in the refrigerator about 12 hours before serving.
  2. Combine the base juices. In a large pitcher or mixing bowl, stir together 4 cups pineapple juice, 3 cups cranberry juice cocktail, 1 cup orange juice, and 1/4 cup lime juice. Whisk gently until fully combined.
  3. Chill the base mixture. Pour the combined juices back into the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or up to 24 hours).
  4. Prepare your serving bowl. About 15 minutes before serving, arrange the frozen mango chunks and frozen berries at the bottom of the punch bowl or cauldron. If using gummy worms, drape a few over the edge of the bowl now.
  5. Add the juice base. Pour the chilled juice mixture over the frozen fruit. Stir gently with a long-handled spoon to distribute the fruit evenly.
  6. Add the ginger ale last. Right before serving, slowly pour in 2 cups of chilled ginger ale. Stir once gently to keep as much carbonation as possible.
  7. Optional: Add dry ice for fog effect. Using tongs, carefully add small chunks of dry ice (about the size of a golf ball) to the punch. Never touch dry ice with bare skin. Wait 2-3 minutes for the fog to develop. Important: Never consume dry ice or let it touch your mouth. Wait until the fog effect subsides completely before drinking.
  8. Serve immediately. Ladle the punch into clear cups, making sure each cup gets a few pieces of frozen fruit. If you used dry ice, remind everyone not to drink until the fog stops bubbling.

Notes

For the best color, use cranberry juice cocktail (not unsweetened cranberry juice). If you want a less sweet punch, swap the ginger ale for sparkling water and add a tablespoon of honey or agave. For a tropical twist, substitute half the pineapple juice with mango nectar. In fall, use frozen apple cider cubes instead of mango chunks. For kids’ parties, skip the dry ice and use a small fog machine placed behind the bowl instead. The juice base (without ginger ale or frozen fruit) can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
