A quick and easy no-bake chocolate strawberry bark that combines rich chocolate with fresh strawberries for a delicious treat ready in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)
  • Optional add-ins: 1/4 cup (30g) toasted almonds, crushed pistachios, or shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the strawberries, then hull and slice them thinly (about 1/8-inch thick). Set aside.
  2. Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat on medium power for 20 seconds, then stir. Repeat in 15-second intervals, stirring thoroughly each time, until smooth and glossy (about 1 to 1.5 minutes total). Alternatively, melt chocolate using a double boiler, stirring continuously until smooth.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the melted chocolate onto the sheet and spread evenly with a spatula to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  4. Immediately scatter the sliced strawberries evenly across the chocolate. If using nuts or coconut, sprinkle them on now.
  5. Sprinkle a light pinch of sea salt over the top (optional).
  6. Place the tray in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate is firm to the touch.
  7. Remove from fridge and break the bark into irregular pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Do not overheat the chocolate to avoid graininess. Pat strawberries dry to prevent chocolate from seizing. Work quickly as melted chocolate sets fast. Store bark in a cool place or refrigerator to maintain freshness. For dairy-free or vegan options, use suitable chocolate chips and freeze-dried strawberry pieces.
