These air fryer garlic butter pork chops are impossibly juicy with a golden-brown crust, made with simple ingredients in under 20 minutes. Perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1 inch thick (roughly 6 ounces each)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 to 5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • Olive oil spray
  • 2 tablespoons reserved melted butter (for brushing after cooking)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops completely dry with paper towels. Let them sit on the counter for 10 minutes to come to room temperature slightly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop and rub in gently.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter (about 30 seconds). Add minced garlic and dried thyme or rosemary. Stir together.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Using a pastry brush, coat both sides of each seasoned pork chop with the garlic butter mixture. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of the butter for brushing after cooking.
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the pork chops in a single layer, leaving space between each chop for air circulation.
  7. Air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes, then flip each chop using tongs. Cook for another 3 to 5 minutes, depending on thickness, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  8. Remove the chops from the air fryer and place them on a cutting board. Immediately brush the reserved garlic butter over the tops. Let them rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

Don’t skip drying the pork chops or letting them rest after cooking. Use a meat thermometer for best results. If using bone-in chops, increase cooking time to 12-14 minutes total. For thinner chops, reduce cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
