  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage finely and slice green onions. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the ground pork in a single layer and cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and crispy on the edges.
  4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in soy sauce (or coconut aminos), toasted sesame oil, and chili garlic sauce if using; stir well to coat the meat evenly.
  6. Add shredded cabbage; toss everything together and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage softens but retains some crunch. Add a splash of water if pan gets dry.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting gradually.
  8. Stir in sliced green onions just before serving.
  9. Serve hot immediately for best crispy texture.
