This Easy Cranberry Moscow Mule Pitcher is a festive, crowd-pleasing cocktail that comes together in just five minutes. Tart cranberry, spicy ginger beer, fresh lime, and smooth vodka create a perfectly balanced drink that’s ideal for holiday parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (475 ml) vodka
  • 3 cups (710 ml) 100% cranberry juice (not cocktail)
  • 2 cups (475 ml) ginger beer (e.g., Fever-Tree or Q Mixers)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
  • 2–3 tablespoons simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice (large cubes or ice block)
  • Fresh cranberries, lime wheels, and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients ahead of time: vodka in the freezer, cranberry juice and ginger beer in the fridge, limes at room temperature.
  2. Juice the limes: roll each lime firmly on the counter, cut in half crosswise, and juice into a small bowl. Strain out seeds. You need about 1/2 cup of juice.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled vodka, cranberry juice, and fresh lime juice. Stir well. Taste and adjust with more lime or simple syrup if needed.
  4. Just before serving, gently pour the ginger beer down the side of the pitcher to preserve carbonation. Stir very gently (2-3 rotations) to combine.
  5. Add large ice cubes or an ice block to the pitcher.
  6. Garnish with fresh cranberries, thin lime wheels, and mint sprigs (slap mint between palms to release oils). Serve immediately in chilled copper mugs or glasses filled with ice.

Notes

Make the base (vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice) up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerate. Add ginger beer, ice, and garnish just before serving. For a non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and increase ginger beer to 3 cups with an extra 1/4 cup lime juice. Use large ice blocks to minimize dilution.
