This creamy spiderweb pumpkin cheesecake dip is a quick, no-bake dessert that’s perfect for Halloween. Ready in 10 minutes with simple ingredients, it features a light and airy pumpkin cheesecake base topped with a fun caramel spiderweb design.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted (optional)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed (light or dark)
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce (for spiderweb design)

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take cream cheese out of fridge 30 minutes before starting. If forgotten, microwave on low for 10-15 seconds until soft but not warm.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with a hand mixer on medium speed until smooth and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes. Scrape down sides halfway through.
  3. Add sugars and spices: Add powdered sugar, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Beat on low speed first, then increase to medium until well combined and smooth, about 1 minute.
  4. Mix in the pumpkin: Add pumpkin puree and beat on medium speed until fully incorporated. Scrape bowl to ensure even mixing.
  5. Fold in whipped topping: Add thawed whipped topping to bowl. Gently fold with a spatula until no white streaks remain, about 20-30 folds. Do not overmix.
  6. Transfer to serving dish: Spoon dip into serving platter or pie dish and spread into an even layer. Smooth the top.
  7. Create the spiderweb: Fill a small piping bag or zip-top bag with caramel sauce. Snip a tiny corner. Pipe a small circle of caramel in the center, then larger concentric circles around it (about 4-5 circles). Using a toothpick or skewer, start from the center and drag outward through all circles toward the edge. Repeat every inch around the dip to create spiderweb pattern.
  8. Chill (optional but recommended): Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors and firm up texture.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is truly softened to avoid lumps. For a dairy-free version, use dairy-free cream cheese and coconut-based whipped topping. The dip can be made up to 2 days ahead; add spiderweb just before serving. Store covered in fridge for up to 4 days. Not recommended for freezing.
