A stress-free, visually stunning charcuterie board featuring the perfect balance of salty meats, creamy cheeses, crunchy nuts, and the unique texture of raw honeycomb with fig jam.

Ingredients

  • Aged cheddar, sharp, cubed
  • Brie or Camembert, soft, room temperature
  • Manchego, semi-hard, sliced
  • Goat cheese, tangy, log shape (optional)
  • Prosciutto, thinly sliced, folded
  • Salami, sliced, classic
  • Soppressata, spicy, sliced
  • Honeycomb, raw, in chunks
  • Fig jam, smooth or chunky
  • Fresh figs, halved, ripe
  • Grapes, red or green, whole
  • Dried apricots, whole
  • Assorted crackers, water crackers
  • Baguette, sliced, toasted
  • Almonds, whole, raw
  • Walnuts, halves, raw

Instructions

  1. Take cheeses out of the fridge and let them sit for twenty minutes before serving to bring out the flavor.
  2. Cut hard cheeses into cubes or slices; leave soft cheese whole or cut in half.
  3. Place cheeses on the board first, scattering them around to create space for other items.
  4. Fold prosciutto and salami into loose rolls and place them near the cheese to add height.
  5. Place small bowls for the fig jam and olives into the empty spaces on the board.
  6. Place honeycomb chunks in the center or near a cheese, being careful not to break it too much.
  7. Fill gaps with crackers, nuts, and fruits like figs and grapes, spreading them out evenly.
  8. Add a sprig of rosemary or thyme for color and aroma as a final touch.

Notes

Serve at room temperature for best flavor. Cheese should be taken out at least 30 minutes before serving. Leave empty space on the board for an elegant look. Store leftovers in the fridge, keeping honeycomb in a separate container as it hardens.
