perfect charcuterie board for two - featured image

An elegant and fuss-free charcuterie board for two featuring a delightful combination of fig jam, honeycomb, savory cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruits, nuts, olives, and crackers. Perfect for cozy occasions or spontaneous evenings.

Ingredients

  • Brie or Camembert cheese (soft, creamy texture)
  • Aged Manchego or Gouda cheese (firm, nutty flavor)
  • Prosciutto slices (thinly sliced, silky)
  • Soppressata or Salami (adds a bit of spice and chew)
  • High-quality fig jam (e.g., St. Dalfour)
  • Fresh honeycomb chunk
  • Seedless grapes or sliced crisp apples
  • Marcona almonds or walnuts (toasted)
  • Olives (green or Kalamata, pitted)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette (sturdy type for spreading)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the board by wiping your wooden board or platter clean and dry.
  2. Slice the Brie or Camembert into small wedges, leaving some whole for aesthetics. Slice the Manchego or Gouda into thin, bite-sized pieces. Arrange them spaced out on the board.
  3. Fold the prosciutto slices loosely to create a rosette effect. Lay out the soppressata or salami slices in small piles or fanned out near the cheeses.
  4. Spoon the fig jam into a small bowl and place it on the board. Gently add the honeycomb chunk on a separate spot or on a small plate.
  5. Scatter seedless grapes or apple slices around the board along with toasted Marcona almonds or walnuts.
  6. Place olives in a small bowl and tuck it into a corner. Fan out crackers or sliced baguette along one edge for easy grabbing.
  7. Fill any empty spaces with extra nuts or small cheese pieces. Cover loosely with plastic wrap if serving later or keep refrigerated and assemble just before serving.
